In the 1940s, she worked for Universal and appeared in some of their horror movies! Some of her movies include: How Sweet It Is, The Lost Tribe, House of Frankenstein, and Rainbow Island. She is likely best remembered for her role as "Consuelo" on TV's "Marcus Welby, M.D." in the 1970s. She was married to Charles Marion, who was a writer at Universal in the 1940s. Verdugo passed away in 2017 at the age of 92. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Elena Verdugo! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
