An Original Vintage Linenbacked French One-Panel "Grande" Poster (1p; measures 47" x 63 1/4") (Learn More) Le Moulin De La Galette, the circa 1940s French poster for a music and dancing event at the renovation and re-opening of the famous windmill and surrounding area in the Montmarte district of Paris, France and featuring art of a couple dancing at night in front of the windmill by L. Guillen. Van Gogh and other impressionists painted images of this windmill, and in recent years, there is now a restaurant at the base of the windmill. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Artist: L. Guillen Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some foldlines. There were some tears and paper loss in the blank borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
