An Original Vintage Deed (measures 12 3/4" x 16 1/4" [32 x 41 cm]) (Learn More)

A 1708 deed detailing the transfer of property between John Stebbing and Elizabeth Lesten. It is entirely handwritten on one 12 3/4" x 16 1/4" sheet, and it has two wax seals under each of the parties' signatures. It was folded, and we don't know how many deeds from the early 1700s like this exist outside of museums, but here is a chance for anyone to own this historic item! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good. Given that this document is over THREE CENTURIES old, it has survived remarkably well (see our images).
