Bruce Humberstone crime film noir murder mystery thriller ("Three of the hottest names in Hollywood... In a picture that makes the screen sizzle!"; "From the novel 'I Wake Up Screaming' by Steve Fisher"; about a model who is murdered, and the police inspector is sure the sports promoter who helped her get started killed her because she was leaving him, but the model's sister helps solve the murder) starring Betty Grable (in a rare non-musical dramatic role!), Victor Mature, Carole Landis, Laird Cregar, William Gargan, Alan Mowbray, Allyn Joslyn, Elisha Cook Jr., Ralph Dunn, and Dick Rich NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that posters and lobby cards were printed with the working title of "Hot Spot", before the title was changed to "I Wake Up Screaming".
