Date Sold 11/21/2023 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 6 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Girl Overboard (also released as "Port of Dreams"), the 1928 Wesley Ruggles prison parole romantic melodrama (about an innocent man sentenced to 8 years in prison, he is paroled but one of the conditions of his parole is that he cannot get married so he goes to live on an old ship with a sea captain, but one day a homeless woman washes up on shore and they take her in; they fall in love and marry, and his parole officer finds out but after interviewing the woman and seeing their love for each other he decides to ignore the parole violation!) starring Mary Philbin, Fred Mackaye, Otis Harlan, Francis McDonald, and Edmund Breese. Note that IMDB lists this movie under the title Port of Dreams, but all movie paper that we can find says Girl Overboard. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that movie paper from this film is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we were consigned this poster! Condition: good to very good. Several of the cards have been lightly and partially folded vertically at one time (see our images). The one with Philbin on the ship's deck has some staining scattered in various areas.
