Nationalfeiertag der DDR (literally translates to "National Holiday of the GDR"), the 1987 East German poster featuring art by Andre Kahane, and celebrating the 28th anniversary of the Tag der Republik (Day of the Republic). Tag der Republik was an East German national holiday created to commemorate the founding of the country on October 7th, 1949.
