The Man Who Fell to Earth, the classic 1976 Nicolas Roeg English fantasy science fiction (sci-fi) alien thriller ("You have to believe it to see it"; "From the novel by Walter Tevis", who also wrote "The Hustler" and "The Queen's Gambit"; "Screenplay by Paul Mayersberg"; about an alien from a planet desperately in need of water, who visits the Earth to save his race, but he is seduced by earthly pleasures) starring David Bowie (in the title role), Bernie Casey, Candy Clark, Buck Henry, Rip Torn, and Tony Mascia

Important Added Info: Note that this German poster measures 9 1/4" x 18 1/4" [23 x 46 cm], but it does not appear to be trimmed. Please do not bid on it thinking that it is 12" x 19".

Condition: good to very good. There are pairs of staple holes in each corner of the poster. The poster was placed on to a very thin linen backing shortly after being printed. The purpose was to reinforce the poster so that it would survive when passed from theater to theater, and when put up on walls and taken down. This poster could be professionally removed from the original linen and placed on to a proper linen backing. I have done this to several such posters, and they end up looking wonderful!
