Note that David Lean had shot Lawrence of Arabia in "Super Panavision 70", which was a 70mm process, and of course, that movie was a great success. He wanted to shoot this movie the exact same way, but MGM refused, and it was shot in "regular" 35mm Panavision. There are some English posters that were printed with "Super Panavision" on them, but the "Super" is blacked over on them (and the first release U.S. posters have solely "Panavision" on them). Because the foldline is such that it has NOT diminished over time, then we will fold the window card prior to mailing, if it is purchased by itself, because that would greatly reduce shipping costs (but we will NOT include the bonus Masterprints if we re-fold the poster). But if the poster is purchased with others, then we WON'T re-fold it, because that won't reduce shipping costs, because the size of the package will be dictated by the other posters purchased. Condition: very good. The window card originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this was commonly done with window cards, when the top had been left blank, or when someone had hand-scrawled play date information in that area). Most collectors do not consider it to be a significant defect at all, since only blank white paper is lost, and the window card becomes easier to frame. Learn More about condition grades
