eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result SOPHIE LANG GOES WEST WC, regular Appears in Hershenson Pressbook CollectionThe image at right is provided for reference purposes and we do not we have it available for purchase, nor do we know of anyone who does! Sophie Lang Goes West, the 1937 Charles Reisner jewel thief romantic crime adventure melodrama sequel ("The exciting and glamorous woman jewel thief is back with a new adventure-thrill!"; "From Stories by Frederick Irving Anderson"; the cute story of a reformed female jewel thief who leaves New York because she is constantly being accused of robberies she didn't commit, but she ends up on the train with a Sultan with a rare jewel, and of course, it is stolen, and all suspicion falls on her, but everything works out in the end!) starring Gertrude Michael (in the title role as Sophie Lang), Lee Bowman, Sandra Storme, Buster Crabbe (billed as "Larry Crabbe"), C. Henry Gordon, and Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings). Note that this was the third movie featuring this character (after 1934's "The Notorious Sophie Lang" and 1936's "The Return of Sophie Lang"). Apparently this movie did not do as well, because it was the final movie with this character. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
