An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Some Like It Hot, the classic 1959 Billy Wilder (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) romantic musical cross-dressing drag crime comedy ("Hot!!!"; about two out of work musicians who happen to witness the St. Valentine's Day Massacre in Chicago, and they need to leave town in a hurry, but the only jobs they can get is with an all-girl band, and they dress in drag, and one of the band members is Marilyn Monroe!) starring Marilyn Monroe ("and her bosom companions"), Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), George Raft, Pat O'Brien, and Joe E. Brown (the great star of 1920s and 1930s slapstick comedy, who practically steals this movie with a wonderful comic performance and an unforgettable final line!)

Condition: good to very good. There are pinholes, creases, and some faint smudges around the edges of the poster. There are two pinholes in the lower center of the poster (one is in the white background between Curtis and Monroe, and the other is in the sleeve of Curtis' dress). There are smudges in the top right of the white background area. The top 3" and the bottom 2" of the poster were folded back at one time. There is 2" of separation at the center of the bottom foldline and 2" of separation with tiny paper loss at the right end of the top foldline. Basically, the above defects are pretty minor, and after a simple linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look fantastic and will require very little paint restoration!
