Some of his movies include: Knock on Any Door (as a member of the jury), Paint Your Wagon, and the Dirty Harry series of movies (as DiGiorgio). He passed away in 2001 at the age of 82. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by John Mitchum! Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 7 1/4" x 10" [18 x 25 cm]. The consignor of this autographed item (and a number of other signed items in this auction) is a longtime autograph collector who does not have a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for this item, but he feels certain it is genuine. Many of the items he has consigned were purchased from an autograph store that was going out of business when the owner retired, and many of the items he has consigned to this set of auctions come from this purchase.
