Casanova's Memoirs, the 1930 Joseph Monet illustrated autobiographical novel (an English translation of Histoire De Ma Vie) about the life of the legendary Italian adventurer and lover, Giacomo Casanova. Note that this 1930 novel was privately printed and illustrated by future filmmaker, Vincente Minnelli, and his style is reminiscent of Aubrey Beardsley (we wonder if he later was proud or embarrassed by this work!).
