Many consider him to be the finest actor from the 1960s to the 1990s! He rose to prominence in Martin Scorsese's Mean Streets, and was wonderful as a young Marlon Brando in The Godfather: Part II (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film). Some of his other movies include: Goodfellas, Taxi Driver (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Raging Bull (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Deer Hunter (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Cape Fear (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Awakenings (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Silver Linings Playbook (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), and many others! AND John Houseman was a Romanian-born British-American producer and actor from the 1930s to the 1980s.
