An Original 1938 (from the first release of this movie in Belgium) Vintage Belgian Movie Sticker Book (measures 10" x 13 3/4" [25 x 35 cm]; 23 pages; contains 100 stickers) (Learn More) Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the classic 1937 David Hand Walt Disney animated animation family romantic fairy-tale fantasy musical cartoon ("His first full length feature production"; "In the Marvelous Multiplane Technicolor"; "Behold The Miracle of the Movies! Coming to amaze you, charm you, thrill you!"; "With Eight new songs as catching as 'The Big Bad Wolf.'"; "To thrill you"; "Merriment!"; "Melody!"; "Magic!"; "The dwarfs sing their marching song on the way to work."; "Walt Disney's first full length feature production"; "The show sensation of the generation!"; "Wondrously filmed in all the glories of the marvelous multiplane Technicolor"; "The Screen's Supreme Thrill! 1,000 artists worked three years to give you this once-in-a-lifetime show!... A full hour and a half of the most enthralling entertainment you ever experienced... truly the miracle in motion pictures!") featuring the voices of Adriana Caselotti (in the title role as Snow White), Harry Stockwell (as the Prince), Lucille La Verne, Moroni Olsen, and Stuart Buchanan. Note that this movie is always referred to as a "1937" movie, but it actually only had a limited opening in December 1937 (no doubt to qualify for the Oscars), and then it had its wide opening in February 1938. But because it is always referred to as being from 1937, we refer to it that way as well (and of course, it is technically correct). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this Belgian album contains 23 pages that have the story of the movie with room for 100 stickers. Surely, the book was sold or given away for free, and then people would collect the stickers and glue them into the album (it was done in connection with the "De Beukelaer" company, which was a cookie company, and no doubt the stickers came in packages of cookies. The album has all 100 stickers glued into it, and it has cool cover art, and we don't know who the artist is who did either the stickers or the cover. If anyone knows more about this book, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: good to very good. There are some tiny areas of paper loss around the edges of the front and back covers in the blank areas. Some of the interior pages have staining caused by the glue from the stickers. The book is tied with a red string at the spine, and that is how it was created, and the string is slightly frayed (see our images). Learn More about condition grades
