An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Mexican Movie Poster (measures 24" x 35 3/4") (Learn More)

Guantes de Oro (literally translates to "Gold Gloves"), the 1961 Chano Urueta Mexican all-star boxing sports melodrama starring Alvaro Ortiz, Marina Camacho, Roberto Ramirez Garza (billed as "Beto El Boticario"), Rodolfo Casanova 'El Chango', Luis Villanueva 'Kid Azteca', Rodolfo Ramirez 'El Rielo', Carlos Malcara, Luis Castillo 'El Acorazado de Bolsillo', Nicolas Moran 'El Chintololo', Tomas Lopez 'El Conscripto', Luis Arizona 'El Hombre de la Macana', Chucho Najera, Pedro Ortega 'El Jaibo', Gonzalo Rubio, Leonardo Lopez, Lupe Gonzalez, and Firpo Segura. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Mexican movie!

Condition: fair. There are many tack holes and small tears scattered throughout the poster with a few old tape repairs on the back. Note that this Mexican poster is EXTREMELY fragile! Mexican posters were printed on a paper stock that often ages very poorly, and also darkens. This poster has darkened somewhat and is more fragile along the foldlines (but of course, any talented restorer could linenback the poster, after which it would look great, but it might require fairly extensive restoration). Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept how fragile it is, or are willing to pay to have it linenbacked.
