An Original Vintage Linenbacked German Political Poster (measures 26 1/2" x 37 1/4") (Learn More)

Frauen!, the circa 1915 German governmental special poster which asks women to vote in an election! The poster (roughly) translates to asking ladies to choose for peace and bread. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. There were creases and tears around the edges and lots of scuffing throughout the solid black areas. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer did nothing about the scuffing in the black areas (which is not all that distracting, and sort of shows that this is a 93 year-old poster!).
