Frank Sennes' Moulin Rouge was a nightclub located on Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles, California from 1953 to 1960. The venue had been the Earl Carroll Theatre from 1938 to the early 1950s. The Moulin Rouge became the largest theater/restaurant in the world at the time. It featured a high-end menu and famous performers, and it thrived as a Hollywood hot spot until Las Vegas began luring people away in the late 1950s.
