An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Idle Roomers, the 1944 Del Lord slapstick horror comedy short ("They're laying down on the job but... they'll lay you in the aisles with laughter!"; "A Columbia Short-Subject Presentation"; the Stooges are bellboys at a big hotel, and there is a sideshow promoter staying at the hotel with his Wolf Man monster, Lupe, who escapes, and the Stooges must catch him!) starring The Three Stooges (Curly Howard, Larry Fine, Moe Howard), Duke York (as Lupe the Wolf Man), Christine McIntyre, and Vernon Dent NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that Three Stooges fans have always wanted to own original release lobby cards from their comedy shorts that show Curly, but they are incredibly rare! In all our years of auctioning, we have only previously auctioned eight first release lobby cards from Three Stooges shorts that show Curly (one title card and seven scenes), and now we have been consigned SIX lobby cards with Curly (two title cards and four scenes), and we are auctioning them in six separate auctions. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. There are some light creases in the upper left corner, some extending into the background area. There are some faint smudges and tiny stains around the edges, with a 1" pencil mark running through the "L" of "IDLE". Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition.
