An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Charles Starrett, the 1938 Columbia stock poster ("Sons of the Pioneers famous radio stars") that Columbia printed for theaters to use when they showed a Charles Starrett western. The theater owners would either hand-write the titles of the specific movie they were showing, or the movie information for a specific movie would be overprinted in the blank area NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare stock poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Theaters would be sent a large snipe that would be glued in the top blank area giving the title of the specific Charles Starrett movie that was being shown. It is also possible that examples of this poster were overprinted with the title of Starrett movies. We don't know which was done, because this poster was never used, and we have never auctioned another! Condition: very good.
