A 1963 Re-release Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (1p; measures 39" x 55") (Learn More) Three Faces West, the 1940 Bernard Vorhaus World War II (WWII) Home Front romantic love triangle adventure melodrama ("GUILTY of daring to love and live"; a complicated story of an Austrian surgeon and his daughter who flee Germany to escape Hitler, and they go to a small town in North Dakota; but the town is devastated by dust storms, and all the townspeople are led to Oregon by a handsome young man, who the daughter starts to fall for, but her father wants her to marry the man who helped them escape from Germany, but she learns that he has embraced Nazism) starring John Wayne, Sigrid Gurie, Charles Coburn, Spencer Charters, and Helen MacKellar. Note that it goes unstated in the movie, but it seems obvious that the surgeon and his daughter are Jewish, and one of the screenwriters was Samuel Ornitz, who was later one of the blacklisted Hollywood Ten screenwriters!
