Hart silent Chicago Illinois romantic cowboy western melodrama (from the story 'Nobody's Fool' by William S. Hart; he also produced the film!; about a cowboy who wins a shooting contest and a railroad president convinces him to come back to Chicago with him to be his head of security, but he only agrees because of the man's beautiful daughter) starring William S. Hart, Jane Novak, Herschel Mayall, Winter Hall, Rhea Mitchell, and Patricia Palmer. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that there are white areas in the corners that look like they COULD be a defect of some sort, but they are NOT. They exist on stills from silent films that have this sort of black border around the edges. It appears that stills of this sort were made by actually blowing up a frame of film, and perhaps those white areas are some sort of sprocket holes. In any event, they are contained within the printing and are not any sort of defect! Condition: fair to good. The still was used in a newspaper or magazine, and there is touch up paint around the figures of the stars (so they would appear better in the printed article; see our images).
