An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures approximately 30" x 40") (Learn More) Jeffrey Dell's The Dark Man, the 1951 Jeffrey Dell English crime murder film noir ("Set in one of Britain's Forbidden Areas..... this is one of the most fascinating films ever screened!"; "He's tall, dark and... a killer!"; about a criminal who kills two people in a remote area, but has the misfortune that his crimes were witnessed by a pretty young amateur actress, and the rest of the movie is concerned with him trying to kill her before she can tell what she knows to the authorities) starring Edward Underdown, Maxwell Reed (in the title role as The Dark Man), Natasha Parry, William Hartnell, and Barbara Murray NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Eric W. Pulford Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this English movie! Note that this British quad was folded vertically three times and horizontally three times (this being folded one time more than is sometimes done, but it is quite common with British quads, especially older ones). Because of this, this quad can be sent in one of our standard size flat packages (but if it is purchased together with quads that have not been folded in the same way, then it will of course have to be sent in one of our tubes if the other quads are unfolded, or, if it is purchased with other quads that are only folded once horizontally than it can either be sent in an oversized flat package, OR in a tube). But if this quad is purchased by itself (or solely with other quads that have been folded the same way), then the shipping can be lower, because it then fits in a standard package. But please realize that because this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time it is likely that the creases have diminished and therefore re-folding the poster will likely bring some of those creases back, but we leave that decision as to whether or not to re-fold the poster up to the individual buyer of this item. UNLESS THE BUYER TELLS US OTHERWISE, THIS QUAD WILL BE SENT ROLLED IN A TUBE. Condition: good. There is ink transfer in the lower right of the poster caused by the poster being folded too quickly after printing. There are two tears in the lower right border. There was an ink stamp on the back of the poster which bleeds through in the white background area to the right of the yellow box. Learn More about condition grades
