An Unfolded Special Poster (measures 29 1/2" x 45" [75 x 114 cm]) (Learn More)

Aspects of New York was a set of 10 posters commissioned by the Container Corporation of America and created by various artists. The ten posters were presented to the city at a ceremony which took place in April of 1969 at the New York City Hall. The posters were to be displayed in public places throughout the city, including churches, parks, subway platforms and community clubs. A complete collection of the posters can be found at the Museum of Modern Art.
Artist: Tomoko Miho
Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this poster, which is the "Wall Street (wall st)" poster from this set of ten posters. We have auctioned one other poster from this set (see above) in our July Major auction in 2021, but NO other posters from this set. But now we are auctioning THREE separate and equally rare posters from the set in three separate auctions!

Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has paper loss along portions of the left edge (see our image). The other edges and main image are in pretty nice condition, but please see our super-sized image (especially of the left edge) to get a good sense of the condition of this very rare poster prior to placing a bid.
