An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still + Letter (Learn More) Terry Moore (born Helen Luella Koford) is an actress from the 1940s to the present. As a teenager, she appeared in a few movies under her birth name, and then in 1948 she took the name "Terry Moore". Some of her movies include: Mighty Joe Young, Gaslight, Going Overboard, Peyton Place, and Come Back Little Sheba (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film). She is also well known for her strange long term romance with Howard Hughes, and in the 1970s she claimed they had been secretly married. As of 2022, she is still alive at the age of 93! Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Terry Moore! Note that our consignor sent Miss Moore this still (and others) in 1990, along with a nice letter, and she sent back the still signed, and also wrote back to him on the back of the letter, mentioning that he had sent her a still with her "signature" on it, but that she had not actually signed it (we don't know what he did with this fake signature, but likely he destroyed it). The winner of this auction will receive both the still and the letter from our consignor which has the response from Miss Moore on the back. Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall!
