An Original Vintage Folded Dutch World War II Poster (measures 33 1/4" x 47" [84 x 119 cm]) (Learn More)

Welvaart In Uw Gezin Door Arbeid In Duitsland (literally translates to "Prosperity In Your Family Through Labor In Germany"), the 1942 Dutch World War II (WWII) Home Front poster created by the Nazi German-occupying forces to encourage Dutch men to seek work in Germany, so that they could send money back home to care for their families. This poster features artwork of a happy mother and children bringing groceries (and ice cream) to their home. Note that because Germany had a massive labor shortage since almost all of their young men were serving in their military, they brought in workers from countries they had occupied.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this Dutch World War II poster! Posters like this are incredibly rare, not only because almost all posters were destroyed during and after World War II because of paper drives, but also because Nazi-created posters were far more likely to be destroyed, even if they somehow survived the paper drives

Condition: very good to fine. This large poster has a few tiny brown stains scattered in it and very minor fold and border wear, and it has a Dutch stamp in the lower left of the image, but overall, it has survived in really nice condition!
