He is the senior U.S. Senator from Massachusetts and Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and was the 2004 Democratic Party nominee for the office of President, losing to President George W. Bush. He was also Barack Obama's coach before his first debate with Mitt Romney. In 2021, he was appointed United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate by President Joe Biden. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by John Kerry! Note that our consignor started obtaining autographs in person decades ago when he would go to premieres and other places that celebrities appeared. He has continued this hobby throughout the years, and now he has reached an age where he has consigned some of his vast collection to us. Most of his autographs were obtained in person, but some were obtained through the mail. Both we and our consignor feel that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall!
