Taut! Terrific!"; the screenwriter, Anthony Veiller, came up with a "prequel" to the classic short story, and he devised a very interesting and very believable back-story that would explain the actions of the characters in Hemingway's story) starring Burt Lancaster (in his first screen role; billed as "introducing Burt Lancaster"), Ava Gardner, Edmond O'Brien, Albert Dekker, Sam Levene, Virginia Christine, Charles D. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had a blank top that was partially trimmed off. It was folded across the middle and had minor wear on the fold, with slight darkening and some tiny tears down the right edge of the right blank border. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
