Her Highness and the Bellboy, the 1945 Richard Thorpe New York City hotel princess royalty romantic love triangle comedy ("A Royal Command to Love!"; about a bellboy at a swanky hotel who has a chance encounter with a princess, and that causes him to ignore his girlfriend) starring Hedy Lamarr (in the title role as Princess Veronica), Robert Walker (in the title role as Jimmy Dobson), June Allyson, Carl Esmond, Agnes Moorehead, and 'Rags' Ragland (former boxer and burlesque comedian who went to Hollywood in 1942 at the age of 37, and who appeared in a couple of dozen MGM movies until his death four years later)

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had small tears and tiny paper loss in parts of most folds, with some tears and paper loss in the blank borders, extending into the image in the middle and upper left border. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
