An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Other Company Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36") (Learn More) The Goldwyn Follies, the 1938 George Marshall all-star musical comedy ("It's the hit of the century!"; "And now the aristocrat of fun shows"; "Songs by George and Ira Gershwin"; "Entertainment galore!"; "Story by Ben Hecht") starring Adolphe Menjou, The Ritz Brothers, Vera Zorina (billed simply as "Zorina"), Kenny Baker, Andrea Leeds, Helen Jepson, Phil Baker, Ella Logan, Bobby Clark, Jerome Cowan, The American Ballet, The Gorgeous Goldwyn Girls, Edgar Bergen, and Charlie McCarthy (billed as "introducing Edgar Bergen & Charlie McCarthy") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this was printed by the "other company". This was a company in the Midwest that from roughly 1936 to roughly 1941 printed its own one-sheets and lobby card sets (and a very few inserts and half-sheets) for three major studio movies (Warner Brothers, Paramount and United Artists, but no other studios). The posters and lobby cards are from the original release of the movie, and almost always have completely different artwork from the regular studio release. They never have the name of the releasing studio on the poster or any of the lobby cards. Sometimes, "other company" posters or lobby cards have images that are the equal of those from the regular studio release posters or lobby cards! Also note that this poster was machine folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. Learn More about condition grades
