Note that the IMDb says that this movie was released in the U.S. in 1946, but we know that there are lobby cards and stills that are dated both 1944 and 1945, so there was at least an intended release late in 1944 or in early 1945. We wonder if perhaps it first played in very limited release in late 1944 in the U.S. and that there was at least a further limited release in 1947. We know that it received a full scale re-release from United Artists in 1950, but that could have been its first major U.S. release. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these are deluxe stills printed on a heavyweight paper stock. Condition: good to very good. The stills are lightly rippled across the top and bottom.
