The studios created both 3D posters and 2D posters (the 2-D posters were for theaters that lacked the 3-D equipment). This poster is from the "3-D" release. Condition: very good. The poster had small paper loss at many crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some foldlines. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that the person who owned the poster had it stapled to a stretcher, as you would do with a painting. I have seen this done with other large linen posters. It does not harm the poster, but it means that the borders of the excess linen were folded back and that there were staple holes all around the excess linen (and there are brown stains where the staple holes were, but they are solely in the excess linen and not in the poster itself).
