An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock's Dial M For Murder, the classic 1954 Alfred Hitchcock 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) romantic love triangle crime murder mystery detective suspense thriller ("...is that you, darling?"; "Written by Frederick Knott who wrote the International Stage Success"; "If a woman answers... hang on for dear life!"; "Is this the man she was waiting for... or the man who was waiting for her?"; "Perfect 3 Dimension in the Hitchcock manner!") starring Ray Milland, Grace Kelly, Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), John Williams, and Anthony Dawson. Note that, although this movie was filmed in 3-D, none of the original posters mention it at all (there is an explanation in the pressbook that because they know many theaters will not show it in 3-D, "the ads have been designed so that the 3D copy may be eliminated" [and obviously, this is why they did not put 3-D on the posters]). Note that there are twelve pinholes across the top 3" of the poster and three on the upper left of the image and three on the upper right of the image (the three on the left are within Kelly's dress and the man's shoulder and one of the three on the right is on Kelly's arm). The poster had small paper loss in the bottom blank corners from rough removal of pins, and someone taped a blank piece of paper on the back of those areas. There is a piece of tape on the back of the poster next to the bottom crossfold mending a tear there and there are some small tears and small separation at the bottom crossfold. This is the sort of poster that responds well to restoration. After linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look great, and there will be little paint restoration anywhere in the image! Learn More about condition grades
