A love-haunted woman!"; "From the novel by Gerald Butler"; about a fugitive and a lonely nurse whose lives cross by fate when he hides out in her apartment) starring Joan Fontaine, Burt Lancaster, Robert Newton, Lewis L. Russell, and Aminta Dyne NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster had a dime-sized area of paper loss at the middle crossfold and tiny paper loss at the other two crossfolds. There was a small upside-down V-shaped tear in the edge of Fontaine's blue image right by the "B" of "Burt". There was fine surface paper loss on parts of many foldlines. There were pinholes, smudges, and tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer did not touch up all of the above defects, and some of them are somewhat noticeable (any restorer could perform additional restoration without re-backing the poster).
