'The Prince and the Showgirl'"; "Some countries have a medal for Everything"; "A Film by Marilyn Monroe Pictures Inc."; "Screen Play by Terence Rattigan"; about a showgirl in a mythical European country, who causes scandal when a prince tries to seduce her) starring Marilyn Monroe (in the title role as Elsie), Laurence Olivier (in the title role as the Prince Regent), Sybil Thorndike, Richard Wattis, David Horne, Jeremy Spenser, Jean Kent, Vera Day, and Margot Lister NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded in half an extra time, and there are creases on two of the foldlines, with tiny tears in the regular top foldline. There is paper loss at the right end of that foldline, and someone taped a piece of paper to the back of that area, and that tape has bled through to the front. There are light brown stains in the right blank border above that (and someone put a piece of tape on the back of that area). It also has pinholes in the corners (the one in the top left has a tear and the one in the top right has paper loss). Most of the above defects are the sort that respond well to restoration, and after linenbacking, this poster will look great.
