Important Added Info: Note that we thought we had seen every kind of art created to advertise Alfred Hitchcock's classic movie, but we have never before seen this really cool Italian poster with completely different art! Note that it is difficult to accurately date Italian posters, and some unmarked re-release posters can be extremely difficult to distinguish from first releases, so please bear that in mind before you place a bid. We used our best information to date this poster, but we can't always guarantee that the Italian posters we sell are not from an unmarked re-release, but this will only prove to be true in a very tiny number of cases. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had many slightly diagonal horizontal creases, with some scuffs scattered throughout, and a 2" tear in the upper left border. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. Linenbacking the poster has somewhat lessened how noticeable the creases and scuffs are, but they are still noticeable.
