Leonard World War I (WWI) military romantic love triangle musical comedy ("Story by Dale Van Every"; about a French woman during World War I who is engaged to a blind French soldier, but she also loves an American soldier stationed in France) starring Marion Davies (in the title role as Marianne; "Her first ALL-TALKING picture!"), Lawrence Gray, Cliff Edwards, Benny Rubin, and George Baxter NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: John Held Jr. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned two different scene cards (we auctioned one card twice), a window card, a herald, and some stills from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this third lobby card! Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There is a pair of faint horizontal creases in the upper left border and upper right border that extend into the image on both sides. Otherwise, the card is in really nice condition. The card can be professionally "flattened", and then the above defects will virtually disappear.
