They were enemies. A passerby could not tell which was who."; "This was the seething sultry Old Southwest. Where loyalties and labels shifted with the sands, the winking of an eye, the wavering of a gun!"; "In a story of the elements. Wind, Earth, Sky, Loyalty, Redemption, Man, Woman, Gunfire!"; "They came for the gold. They stayed for the adventure."; "Based on the novel 'The Stars in Their Courses' by Harry Brown"; "Screenplay by Leigh Brackett"; a virtual re-make of Hawks' own "Rio Bravo") starring John Wayne ("is the Gunfighter"), Robert Mitchum ("is the Sheriff"), James Caan (in his fourth credited movie role!), Charlene Holt, Paul Fix, Arthur Hunnicutt, Michele Carey, Edward Asner, and Johnny Crawford. Important Added Info: Note this poster has been professionally linenbacked. It now looks great, and most dealers would describe it as "fine (or mint) on linen". We have noted the defects that were restored below (and feel everyone should always do this!). Many collectors would not be aware of the restoration this poster has had unless it was specifically shown to them! Condition: fine. The poster has had some restoration on the folds.
