Fitzgerald silent romantic melodrama (about a gold digger who tries to fleece a wealthy older man by charging him with breach of promise; he outwits her by offering to marry her, and she leaves; but she returns in disguise and he falls in love with her, and she realizes she loves him, so they marry, but then a man tries to blackmail her, but it turns out her husband knew everything all along) starring Viola Dana, Alfred Allen, Wyndham Standing, Edward Cecil, Florence Turner, Jack Roi, and Lydia Knott NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that, in the early days of movie making, when lobby cards were first made (around 1915), studios would issue sets of the cards in two sizes; the regular 11" x 14" size, and a smaller 8" x 10" size. The cards were identical in every way except for the different size. This practice continued through the early 1920s, at which point the studios abandoned the smaller lobby cards, likely because theaters either ordered 11" x 14" lobby cards or 8" x 10" stills, and did not order enough of the 8" x 10" lobby cards to justify them continuing to make them. Condition: good. There is a pencil mark in the upper right of the image that extends into the man's shoulder, as well as a tiny stain in the forehead of the man at left. There is tiny paper loss in the right of the bottom blank border. There is a pinhole in each corner and in the center of each border. Learn More about condition grades
