An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Lorna, the 1964 Russ Meyer buxom-wandering-bad-wife sexploitation movie ("Longing... Love... Lust... Life"; "Ever wonder why wives Wander?"; "More than a woman's name, Lorna, Too Much For One Man!"; "The boldest attempt yet to portray life as it can be... Without compromise... Without dishonesty... Without artistic surrender."; "..the embodiment of fulfillment and desire"; "James He loved too quick"; "Fugitive He loved too strong"; "Luther He loved too brutal"; "Jonah He loved too sick"; "Ezra He loved too well") starring Lorna Maitland ("a wanton of unparalleled emotion... unrestrained earthiness... destined to set a new standard of voluptuous beauty."; "...incredibly voluptuous"; "...to much for one man"), Hal Hopper, Mark Bradley, James Rucker, Doc Scortt, Althea Currier, F. Rufus Owens, Franklin Bolger, Ken Parker, and James Griffith (who also wrote the screenplay; billed as "Featuring James Griffith") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that the commonly seen one-sheet for this movie has a primarily green background, and there is a less commonly seen style that has the same image, but a solid black background. But there is also this completely different third style, which has a FAR sexier image than the other two, which would likely account for why it is far more rare than the other two styles! The one-sheet offered here, which measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm], is extremely rare, and the last time we auctioned an example of it was in 2016! Note that this is one of 55 sexploitation one-sheets which we were recently consigned (we auctioned the first of these over the last three months, and now we continue with another group of them)! The 55 posters are in separate auctions, and they include a number of posters that we have only auctioned once or twice before. There are also a number with great images or taglines. This is an excellent opportunity to add one or more of these rare one-sheets to your collection, and this consignor only had one of each title, so on the rare ones, it may be quite some time before we offer the same title again! Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded somewhat oddly, resulting in some creases and tiny tears along portions of some edges, but there is a larger tear in the right edge of the lower horizontal fold (see our image). It has a tape stain at upper left above Maitland's image (the piece of tape was not put there for any restoration purpose). There are a few faint smudges along portions of the folds. It is otherwise in pretty good condition and if one chose to have it restored it would look great, although I imagine many collectors would be happy with this poster as it is.
