Ulisse (released in the U.S. in 1955 as "Ulysses"), the 1954 Mario Camerini Italian/U.S. sword-and-sandal Roman/Greek mythology fantasy thriller ("The Towering Triumphs Of The Most Tremendous Adventure Of All!"; "GASP as Ulysses leads screaming thousands against Troy!"; "THRILL as Ulysses dares the gorgeous sirens... the hideous one-eyed Cyclops!"; "SEE Ulysses' adventures filmed where they happened - 5,000 years ago!"; "Based on Homer's Odyssey"; with a screenplay by seven talented writers: Franco Brusati, Mario Camerini, Ennio de Concini, Hugh Gray, Ben Hecht, Ivo Perilli, and Irwin Shaw) starring Kirk Douglas (in the title role as Ulisse/Ulysses), Silvana Mangano (as Circe/Penelope), Anthony Quinn, Rossana Podesta, Sylvie, Daniel Ivernel, and Jacques Dumesnil

Condition: good. The poster had a semi-circular area of paper loss in the bottom left corner, mostly in the red background, but extending into the small writing at bottom. It also had tiny scuffs along the foldlines and some creases, smudges, tears, and faint stains around the edges of the poster and some faint horizontal scuff marks throughout the image. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
