Van Dyke romantic detective mystery crime comedy sequel ("Continuing the fun in their sequel"; "Continuing the fun in their new hit!"; "Their New joyous hit!"; "Mr. & Mrs. Thin Man are back in their joyous new hit!"; "'Me too' says Astra, the Dog"; "From the story by Dashiell Hammett"; one of the very popular "Thin Man" movies; the very first sequel to the super popular 1934 movie "The Thin Man") starring William Powell (as Nick Charles), Myrna Loy (as Nora Charles), James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart; in his ninth movie role), Elissa Landi, Joseph Calleia, Jessie Ralph, Alan Marshall, Teddy Hart, Sam Levene, Dorothy McNulty, Penny Singleton, and Asta (the dog). Note that original 1936 material from this very first sequel to the 1934 movie "The Thin Man" is almost as rare as that from the first movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: fair to good. There is a clean 5" tear (no paper loss) in the upper left border that runs down into the center of Loy's face. There is also a clean 2 1/2" tear (no paper loss) in the right of the top border. There is paper loss in the left blank corners, slight darkening in parts of the borders, and brown paper tape on the back of the top border. While these defects are the sort that respond really well to expert restoration, the card DOES need to have restoration performed, so bear this in mind before placing a bid on this card.
