While his subjects included the American West and wildlife, he is best known for his works involving aviation history. He was the official artist of the American Fighter Aces Association and completed 51 paintings portraying aerial combat of aces from World War I (WWI), World War II (WWII), the Korean War, and Vietnam. He was also the official artist of the American Combat Airman Hall of Fame, and for his Western art was a member of the Cowboy Artists of America. He passed away in 2019 at the age of 86. Raymond Brooks and hand-numbered 542/1250. BUT, in this case, the art print was sent to Mr. Grinnell at a later date, and he created the artwork in the lower center blank area with pencil, making this art print unique! Condition: good. The art print has light dot staining scattered through several areas.
