Roy Grinnell was an artist, illustrator, and painter from the 1950s to 2019. While his subjects included the American West and wildlife, he is best known for his works involving aviation history. He was the official artist of the American Fighter Aces Association and completed 51 paintings portraying aerial combat of aces from World War I (WWI), World War II (WWII), the Korean War, and Vietnam. He was also the official artist of the American Combat Airman Hall of Fame, and for his Western art was a member of the Cowboy Artists of America. He passed away in 2019 at the age of 86.
Artist: Roy Grinnell
Important Added Info: Note that there is something very interesting about this art print! It was personally autographed (signed) by artist Roy Grinnell and fighter pilot Lt. A. Raymond Brooks and hand-numbered 542/1250. BUT, in this case, the art print was sent to Mr. Grinnell at a later date, and he created the artwork in the lower center blank area with pencil, making this art print unique!

Condition: good. The art print has light dot staining scattered through several areas. As can be seen in our image they are not very noticeable or distracting when it is displayed at a reasonable viewing distance, but bear this in mind before bidding.
