Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was folded across the middle. It had several long creases and tears through the lower part of the image affecting the top and bottom of Joan's body and the background to the left and right. It had many creases, tears, and stains around the edges, with some paper loss. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
