Note that Amoco (originally part of Standard Oil, which later absorbed the American Oil Company) participated strongly in the war effort during World War II, producing better airplane fuel, and even producing TNT for the government! After World War II, they returned to producing gasoline for cars. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This billboard poster was tri-folded only (which means there is one less vertical machine fold than usual). This means the poster has a significantly lesser number of folds than with billboards folded in the "regular" way, which is nice! Tri-folded billboards need to be sent in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 16" x 38", so they cost more to send than regularly folded billboards, especially if they are sent to non-U.S. addresses. This billboard was printed in 12 sections. Condition: very good. The poster was clearly never used, and has only minor wear on some of the foldlines and in the borders. It has survived the past decades in about as good condition as one could imagine! Learn More about condition grades
