Important Added Info: Note that it is well known that Humphrey Bogart loved playing chess, and he found people to play with on just about every movie he made. For Confidential Agent, he played with star Charles Boyer while he was visiting his wife Lauren Bacall, who was starring in the movie. The snipe on the back says that both Boyer and Bogart are "chess experts" and that they held a "chess tourney", and that they got "international chess champion Herman Steiner to act as referee"!
