An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Argentinean Movie Poster (measures approximately 29" x 43") (Learn More) Slightly French, the 1948 Douglas Sirk movie-making acting romantic musical comedy ("Slightly French with a big accent on fun!"; "Hollywood's gayest romantic mix-up!"; "Gay, mad Hollywood mix-up!"; "Slightly French... and the accent's on comedy!"; about a movie director who discovers a beautiful singer in a carnival, and he decides to present her to the world as an elegant French singer) starring Dorothy Lamour, Don Ameche, Janis Carter, Willard Parker, Adele Jergens, and Jeanne Manet NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. The poster had an L-shaped area of paper loss at the top crossfold, and areas of paper loss scattered on all the foldlines. There were some creases, tears, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking.
