An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

O'Malley of the Mounted, the 1936 David Howard Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) cowboy western melodrama ("From the story by William S. Hart") starring George O'Brien (in the title role as Constable O'Malley), Irene Ware, Stanley Fields, James Bush, Victor Potel, and Tom London. Note that this was a remake of the 1921 William S. Hart movie, which was written and produced by William S. Hart, and that is why he gets a credit on this poster!

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had two extra horizontal folds above and below the regular top one, with small tears and tiny paper loss in the top and bottom quarters of the vertical fold, and tiny paper loss at the crossfolds. There was minor wear on the other folds and in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
