Important Added Info: Note that first release 1938 movie paper from this Oscar Micheaux movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this lobby card! Not only that, but ANY pre-1940 Oscar Micheaux movie paper is also incredibly rare. We have only auctioned two posters and a single lobby card from any of his pre-1940 movies. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There is a tape stain in the top center of the image, with a long vertical scuff line running down the center of the image. There is a 1/2" surface tear in the upper left of the image background. See our super-sized images to get a good sense of the condition of this card. This is the sort of card that responds really well to professional restoration. It is likely that much or all of the smudges and stains can be removed through chemical means, after which the card will look fantastic (although I think many collectors would display this ultra rare card on their wall just as it is).
