An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded International Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Jaws, the classic 1975 Steven Spielberg Massachusetts man-eating Great White shark horror thriller ("The terrifying motion picture from the terrifying No. 1 best seller."; "The screen's super thriller from the#1 book"; "...May be too Intense for younger children"; "For fullest enjoyment - see 'Jaws' from the beginning."; "Based on the novel by Peter Benchley"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; with an Academy Award winning musical score by John Williams, and special effects by Robert A. Mattey) starring Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss, Lorraine Gary, Murray Hamilton, Carl Gottlieb, Jeffrey Kramer, Susan Backlinie, Jonathan Filley, Ted Grossman, Chris Rebello, Jay Mello, Lee Fierro, Jeffrey Voorhees, Craig Kingsbury, Dr. Robert Nevin, and Dorothy Fielding NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this particular insert poster is one on which there are many examples of which many top dealers (myself included) feel sure are reproductions. They can be distinguished from originals by their "super-white" paper, and the glossiness on the back of the poster. The poster offered here, is definitely an original! Note also that this is an "international" style insert (meaning it was printed in the U.S. for use in non-U.S. countries). Note the lack of a ratings box and NSS information. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. There are several pairs of staple holes around the edges of the blue border. The poster has two extra horizontal foldline creases (one is 2" above the lower horizontal fold and the other a few inches under the upper horizontal fold.) There is a small v-shaped tear at upper right (just beneath the horizontal crease). It is otherwise in pretty good condition and if one chose to have it restored it would look great, although I imagine many collectors would be happy with this poster as it is.
