An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Lebanese Movie Poster (measures 27 1/2" x 39 1/4" [70 x 100 cm]) (Learn More) 12 Stulev (released in English-speaking countries as "Twelve Chairs"), the 1971 Leonid Gayday Russian comedy (based on the novel by Ilya Ilf & Yevgeni Petrov) starring Archil Gomiashvili, Sergey Filippov, Mikhail Pugovkin, Natalya Krachkovskaya, Natalya Vorobyova, and Glikeriya Bogdanova-Chesnokova. Note that there were an amazing 25 (at least) different movie and TV adaptations based on this same novel by Ilya Ilf and Yevgeni Petrov, with the first in 1933. At first, there were 13 chairs, but at some point, they lowered that to 12, and the remaining movie adaptations had 12! Surely this must be close to some sort of record for most adaptations for a non-classic novel! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
